The Happy Ranch Horse Farm

The Happy Ranch was built and established by Mr. Sary Pann in 2002 in Siem Reap, the world famous city of the unique Angkor temples. Located 2km from the center of Siem Reap Angkor, it is the only western style horse ranch of its kind in all Southeast Asia. Most of our ponies are pure Cambodian breed. Many are born and bred with Arabian horses here at our stables. Our aim is to produce larger varieties so that we can cater for all riders.

Set on 10 hectares of beautiful Khmer countryside, around a miniature lake, the ranch accomodates 46 horses, stallions, mares and foals. The facilities include  a round pen, a 20 x 40m dressage arena, a horse preparation area,  and 40 large clean stalls in the stables. We are fully equipped  with European standard English and Western style saddles,  imported from the USA and Europe. We also provide safety helmets to all riders

Mr. Sary PANN, the owner of the Ranch, is a Cambodian who had been living in America for 30 years. A few years ago when he retired from his job in America, Mr. Pann came back to Cambodia and bought one Cambodian horse. Very soon, he fell in love with horses and bought a second one... And a third one... Eventually, he decided he would build a ranch in Siem Reap, Angkor. 4 years later... The Happy Ranch is a beautiful and peaceful place, now accommodating 46 handsome Cambodian horses including stallions, mares and foals. Crossbreeding his own horses and respecting at least 2 and a half years before breaking them in softly, Mr. Pann has achieved to get strong horses, growing taller each generation. Mr. Sary Pann has always made sure his stables are maintained at international standards.
